The youth is starting to change

So I moved. The landlord is really nice. I feel bad, I'm only planning to stay a month or two. Anyway, it's a three room house but the other two rooms are unoccupied so I have the whole empty house to myself. There is an upstairs but I've yet to meet the Chinese couple living up there. I heard them leaving from the side door today and I peeked out the window. A tree blocked my view. Whatever, that's kind of creepy. Anyway, here's a picture:

I bought an air mattress because I can't afford a real bed. It's really comfortable though. Better than the stupid NYU mattress. Alex (landlord) noticed how small the room was for me and offered me the bigger room for the same price. Truth is, I like my small room. He also suggested that I get a bed frame so I can put stuff under the bed and have more space but I'm not going to because I'm not staying long. I'm also broke.

Well, maybe in a month or so I'll change my mind and want to stay. I haven't seen the apartment I'm supposed to move to yet so I don't know.

Moving was a big deal for me. Just because I felt like it was a defining moment. I don't know how or why. Maybe because I'm really living on my own. This is awesome! Anyway, I have one more final and I'm seeing Tegan and Sara next week!!!!

Also, I emailed my History of the Universe professor to tell her I got accepted into the Teacher Academy and to thank her again for writing me a recommendation. I also asked her if she was tipsy on the night of the cruise because she sured acted like it. She said she was just tired. What a liar.
