with all these science and education classes up my sleeve, i am afraid i just have no time to read or write. this makes me sad. i've decided to give myself a project for the next few months! at least once a week, i will try to have a new post with a short essay or passage or anecdote or whatever i can think of about a woman/girl/lady that i've encountered in my life. i will not name that person, and i may use the same person more than once. this seems fascinating... to me at least. the anthology of these entries will be titled "she", thus the title of this post. man, now i really wish i had a typewriter so i can actually do this and put together a small book. that would be nice. anyway, i may fall short a few weeks depending on how busy i am or perhaps on some weeks, i will compensate and post multiple times! here's the first one (it's short!):
She made sure to not bother with the things in this world that don't make any sense, such as the often lifeless, but always aching, limbs that cling on to her body, suffocating her, stealing the little bits of air that are sometimes hard to find. Disgusted and scared by the sight of what should be normal, but for her, it's an ugly truth. With each meticulous step, there is a looming shadow that yields vacant hope and directs expected ailments. She hides the sorrows of life as if they are secrets written in invisible ink. There is a sadness that shoots out of her blue eyes telling you there is no way you can understand. Bravery exists only in fairy tales because in this world, heroes cry.

peace and love,
