dear,

sometimes i feel compelled to write, but i, embarrassingly, have nothing to say. nothing that will excite the bones in our body and make them shiver; dance to the tune in our heads. which is currently a french tune... do french bones have mustaches? perhaps a beret?

anyway, nothing much has happened. i finished my summer classes and i'm going to enjoy what's left of the summer. july has flown by and lisa is almost here! <3 sara and i have been cleaning the basement. we are... almost done. the cleaning has been done in parts since i work and sara likes to play. my old room is almost entirely furnished. we just need to get a couch/futon and a mattress. the new room is pretty much done, we just need to decorate and tidy up a bit. i'm excited. the new living room will be perfect for movie nights and/or board game nights.

so some people at work were telling me about the events that go on in the museum of natural history at night. oooo nyc you are so sneaky!! anyway, so it's like a club but who cares about the details. the most important part of the night should be the fact that you get to have a drink in your hand while you are in the planetarium! i would like to go as soon as i turn 21 please.

harry potter!

i don't really like to do this, but here are some lyrics to a song that i'm listening to:
(this is how i've been feeling, just saying)
(it's also a very good song)

"everything i build" by the stills

the tide is high
i've never been so low
you got room to grow
you can never look up
you can't ever look down
you get kicked around

but i built it with sand and i built it with rock
i built it with all of the things that i'm not
and i watch from the hill as it burns to the ground
i can still see the smoke from my train out of town

everything i build is breaking down
everything i build is breaking down

i close my eyes
scared of what i saw
are you mad at all
been an open book
been a slamming door
apple of the trojan war

but i built it with sand and i built it with rock
i built it with all of the things that i'm not

i just changed all of my passwords and i forgot that i did and i got emails saying the passwords for my credit card accounts were changed and i started freaking out. but only for like a millisecond. those kind of freak outs are mundane. so is everything about this post, but i think we forget how essential it is to confront the mundane with a big smile and a gigantic horde of acceptance and content.

okay, peace
