To get better and overcome each moment in my own way

I'm all settled in!

This new neighborhood really intrigues me. I'm really excited to be commuting back and forth from here. I like it a lot. I do miss living behind a Target and Queens Center Mall (the huge food court is underground and the trash cans say "Thank you" when you throw stuff away).

So this Sarah Palin... don't hate her, but you don't have to like her either. I've yet to watch the vice-presidential debate so maybe I'll change my mind when I do, but Joe Biden is the shit. Um, I was very disappointed with the presidential debates though. All I can say is that Obama needs to remember McCain's first name, but that shit was funny. Anyway, McCain talks like an older George Bush. More reason to hate republicans. Jk. Peace in America.

I've been doing a lot of thinking lately. More than usual. I don't know how much is usual. I mean, human beings should think, right? Well, I haven't been able to draw any conclusions for myself, nor have I been able to find any solutions or answers. Maybe I am a so-called "troubled teen". Are you still a teenager at 19 years old? Recently, I've been feeling the same way I felt in high school, but with more responsibilities, which I've just put off btw. "I just want to get back on track." I did just fine last year. I just need to find some motivation. I realized I can't change who I am... not for anyone. Not for my parents, friends, people I love, people I want to love me, not even myself. That makes me a little sad. Change is too strong a word... like hate. So don't hate Sarah Palin.

Also, not only am I not in shape, but I am not very flexible either. I've been waking up to a lot of muscle cramps all over my legs and I cramp up whenever I do any strenuous reaching (in this case, those instances were not strenuous at all actually). Man, I suck. I haven't been eating very healthy either. So if a pretentious modern artist was to draw my insides on his or her smugly placed canvas in his or her strategically decorated studio/apartment, it would be a dark, dark canvas full of twists and turns and swollen organs. Or disintegrating organs. Or organ-less. Or not. My insides could actually look very pretty. It's what's on the inside that counts.

I went to see Tegan and Sara. Best. Show. Ever. I can't even explain. If you didn't go, you missed out. GIVE CHASSSEEEEEE!!! I also saw Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist with Genie, Carly, Robin, and some of Genie's friends. It was a very cute movie. Very funny. Lots of people I didn't expect showed up in the movie. Also, some guy fell asleep and was snoring during a very quite part of the movie. So everyone in the theater was like, "What the Fuck?!" Then this guy got up and tapped him on the shoulder and everyone cheered. Yay. Well, he was still asleep after the movie and Carly was pissed (aka drunk) so she put our tub of popcorn on his head. We gtfo'ed.

I like mushrooms.
I also did laundry for the first time in 2 months.
I think doing laundry is like crossing a threshold. It's time to be a better person. How lame, laundry.
The mushroom part just makes life that much better.

Peace and Love,
