greetings from the bay area.

am i lame for still using blogspot when other interweb fanatics have switched to bigger and better (and more user-friendly) sites such as wordpress or tumblr?? fuck them.

it's quite warm here in the californ-i-a, and i've spent a surprising majority of my time here watching law and order: svu. chyeahhh. i have to say, there's not much to do here... but a former english teacher of mine once said, "if you're bored, then you are boring." not my taste of wise words but i guess she is right.

i miss isabel. i know it's sorta sad/stupid since i'm only here for two weeks and it's been less than one week, but i've realized that i made a mistake of scheduling this trip for so long. note to self: wisely plan trips back to california for no more than 1.5 weeks or i will find myself watching law and order: svu all day every day. cool.

i do have to get off my lazy ass and take myself to gilroy so i can see my beautiful friend carly. i'm pretty sure i promised her dad i would go over for dinner one day; mmm home-made pizza... that was over a year ago. i have to say, i'm terrible with keeping promises. more importantly (depending on the extremity of the promise), i'm even worse at keeping in touch with friends. but there's not much to catch up on really. it's like people are running and pacing pass me as i drifty idly by... oi. am i too pretentious when i really hate answering the question, "how is new york?" ugh i feel like such an ass. it's polite of people when they ask. i respond with one of the follow or both: "awesome!" or "cold!"

yeahhhhhh i suck.

things i look forward to when returning to new york:

1. snow
2. watching law and order: svu with isabel (okay so i guess i watch this no matter the situation or location)
3. white castle
4. putting the finishing touchings to the decorating of my room.
4a. putting that expensive fabric to good use
5. running across the brooklyn bridge naked
6. riding the subway
7. my 21st birthday
8. isabel's recital
9. watching legion
10. making more lists

i like lists. i like to recite them in my head after i'm done writing them. sometimes i wish i can narrate my own life... with a type writer... i like my macbook though. i want an ipod. OH almost forgot. i'm also looking forward to celebrating my 6th/7th month anniversary with isabel. we don't celebrate anything and i feel like we should. we didn't even get each other christmas presents. i think we're an odd couple. i'm also very bad at remembering stuff like this. that's why it's 6th/7th month.

muse's resistance is sooooo good. i don't care if the entire album sounds alike. bite me.
i've also found a new liking to tegan and sara's sainthood. didn't like it at first. then that little asian girl driving a honda civic drove incredibly slow down austin street and passed isabel and i as we were christmas shopping and that little asian girl in the car was blasting "hell" super loud. that gave me a new appreciation. hooray
