Farewells and sentiment and the long haul

Goodbyes become so frivolous after repetition.
But I feel like it's obligatory.

Goodbye family and friends and treasures we've buried!!!
I'm leaving in a few hours.
Time for some last minute stuff.
I also haven't packed yet.
